The Jack Wimmer Award honors former Greenhills/Forest Park Music Supervisor Jack Wimmer and is accompanied by a $250 Music Booster scholarship. This department-wide award is given to the student who "exemplifies motivating spirit, enthusiasm and dedication to the art of music." The award was given to Kelsey Randall.
The Patrick S. Gilmore Award honors the service and dedication of a high school’s best band students. This award winners were Kristen Budke and Katelyn Budke.
The John Philip Sousa Award is the most prestigious of the band awards. This is in recognition of outstanding achievement and interest in instrumental music, for singular merit in loyalty and cooperation, and for displaying those high qualities of conduct that school instrumental music requires. Adrianna Ivory was the award winner.
The National School Orchestra Award is the highest award given in orchestral music at the high school level. It is presented "in recognition of singular merit, ability, and achievement, of outstanding contributions to the success of the school orchestra program, and of an unusual degree of loyalty, cooperation and high qualities of conduct." Sam Rocklin was given this award.
The James Cox Memorial Choral Musicianship Award was established by the Winton Wood High School Choral Department in honor of former Greenhills Choir Director James Cox. The award is given to a student who demonstrates superior musicianship skills and leadership. The recipient of this award was Adrianna Ivory.
The National School Choral Award is the highest award given in choral music at the high school level. It is presented "in recognition of singular merit, ability, and achievement, of outstanding contributions to the success of the school vocal program, and of an unusual degree of loyalty, cooperation and high qualities of conduct.” The award was given to Michael Spalding.
The Choir Student(s) of the Year Award is given to students who have distinguished themselves in a singular way through leadership, cooperation, commitment and enthusiasm, particularly during their senior year. This year recipients were Haleigh Holtman and Austin Phelps.
The Winton Woods High School Music Boosters Scholarship is presented to the graduating senior who best exemplifies the character and tradition of the outstanding music program at Winton Woods High School. The recipient receives a $500 scholarship. Sam Rocklin was awarded with the Music Boosters Scholarship.
The Choral Service Merit Award is presented this year to the student who invested the greatest number of service hours into the music program. The award was given to Emily Cleary.
The Friends of the Arts Award is rewarded to those parents who will be graduating with their children. These parents have donated time and talent to the Music Program. The 2012 recipients were: Tim Cleary, Teresa Cleary, Kim Sherman, Matt Sherman, Lora Budke and Kevin Budke.
The Warrior Award: Each department is asked to identify one student at each grade level who is either "most improved" student or whose dedication, habits, and work ethic distinguish them in an extraordinary way. This 2012 award winner was Keith Hamilton.
The Academic Achievement Award: Each department is asked to identify two students at each grade level whose academic achievement distinguished them from their peers at the highest possible manner. The award was given to Katelyn Budke and Anthony Boateng.

The Semper Fidelis Award for Musical Excellence
was presented by the United States Marines in recognition of diligence,
dedication, and musical excellence as a performing high school bandsman and
soloist. The award was presented to Caleb Simpson and Adrianna Ivory.
