BAND/ORCHESTRA TRY IT NIGHT
Fourth grade students and their parents in the Winton Woods School District are invited to the annual Try It/Sign Up Night for band and orchestra on Tuesday, March 27, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. in the Winton Woods Elementary School library.
“Students will have the opportunity to try out the various band and orchestra instruments that evening,” said Kara Barbee, fifth grade band director. “Teachers will be on hand to help students decide what instrument they would like to play next year in fifth grade, and representatives from local music stores will be available to answer parent questions regarding obtaining an instrument.”
Sign-ups will be on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are unable to attend sign-ups and are interested in enrolling your child in the band or orchestra program, please contact Barbee at barbee.kara@wintonwoods.org or (513) 619-2449
