One Call Now able to handle music groups and text messages

The One Call Now system is based completely upon the information you have submitted by registering for the One Call Now messaging system.

One of the tough things about staying in touch with everyone is that each person prefers a different form of communication--some text message, some email, some Facebook and some prefer phone calls.

By keeping your contact info up to date at One Call Now
http://goo.gl/DLvg3 We can communicate with you via your preferred method.

However, in order for this to work for you, you must make sure to update the One Call Now information! We also request that you add your student's cell phone and email addresses to the Family Update at
http://goo.gl/DLvg3 that way they can be included in One Call Now updates and if you so choose, the text messages as well.

This year when we spoke with the kids, MOST of them indicated that text messaging and Facebook were their most frequently used form of communication of choice. This is now possible!

In order to allow the text messaging to your account (if you have not already set it up) you will need to:
1. Add your cell to the Family Update at
http://goo.gl/DLvg3
2. Elect to add text messaging to your contact information
3. Text the word "Alert" to 22300

PLEASE NOTE: Text messaging rates for your carrier will apply!

WWHS Varsity Ensemble to participate in World Choir Games 2012

The Winton Woods High School Varsity Ensemble choir will be competing in next year’s World Choir Games in Cincinnati. “After our international experience with performing in China prior to the 2008 Beijing Olympics, we knew this could be another very memorable opportunity for our students to build relationships with singers from other countries and to perform for a worldwide audience,” said Winton Woods High School Choir Director David Bell. “We have done many things with the Varsity Ensemble during the past 30 years but competing in an international venue is a challenge we have never before undertaken.”
